His presentation was incredibly powerful and moving and while it can be an upsetting topic it was delivered thoughtfully and with compassion.
It has prompted our department to start talking more openly about our mental health and we are now looking at how we can implement some useful tools Adrian has recommended such as the 20 minute suicide prevention course.
While sadly it’s too late for George I have no doubt that the work Adrian is doing is saving many lives.
Thank you Adrian and good luck with your mission.”

"I have had the privilege of hearing Adrian share his deeply personal and moving story about the loss of his son, George, who tragically took his own life at the age of 24. Adrian's courage and honesty in speaking about this painful experience are truly inspiring. Through his talks, he not only honours George's memory but also plays a crucial role in guiding others towards support and healing.
Adrian also supported Hull 4 Heroes in establishing a peer support group in his son’s name. His presentations have helped individuals discover and engage with this group, along with Lisa's Ladies. These groups provide essential support for those who might otherwise feel alone in their struggles. Adrian’s ability to connect with his audience is remarkable, and many have found comfort, understanding, and a sense of community through these groups as a direct result of his talks.
I wholeheartedly support Adrian in his ongoing efforts to share his story. His work is making a significant and positive impact on many lives."

"Adrian delivered his powerful message to our employees of Humberside Fire and Rescue Service at our annual Health, Wellbeing and Performance Conference. When organising a conference like this I feel it’s important to have speakers who can share lived experience in a relatable way. The Fire and Rescue Service unfortunately deal with suicide on a regular basis and having a guest speaker such as Adrian come along to share his message on how suicide impacts not only individuals but whole families was truly breathtaking. Adrian's drive to promote awareness around suicide and Get Emotions Out is impeccable and I firmly believe he is making a real difference to the people within the community."

Adrian's story was raw, emotional and deeply courageous. His ability to speak so openly about such a personal tragedy moved many of us to tears and reminded us that's it's okay not to be okay.
Bringing this conversation into our company was important to me, and I'm incredibly grateful to Adrian for trusting us with his message. His words didn't just raise awareness - they opened hearts.
Thank you, Adrian. You're making a difference, and today you made one here.

Whilst attending East Riding of Yorkshire’s armed forces covenant delivery group, I had the pleasure of being introduced to Adrian Ellis and we managed to catch up again last week. Adrian is an inspirational speaker who delivers the most powerful insight from his lived experiences surrounding suicide. A club that no parent could even contemplate needing to ever join. I was blown away with how he is able to connect to every participant, sharing his story and his expertise in a highly skilful manner, whilst also offering a safe space to reflect on our own perceptions.
I commend Adrian’s strong commitment to raise awareness of mental health and suicide by sharing how he has turned trauma into triumph. He creates an impactful ripple effect to prompt a more open approach to mental health, not only resonating on a professional level that requires understanding of others, but on a personal level of prioritising our own well-being in an ever-increasing complex world.
Adrian has a wealth of experience presenting to a vast range of audiences including children, young people, adults and professionals. If you’re looking to inspire and create positive changes within your organisation, support services or educational setting, I highly recommend reaching out to him to find out more about the services he can offer

Adrian was kind enough to share his family’s experience with our staff, who found the session thought provoking, informative and above all extremely sad for the family and friends living with the loss of George.
The story provoked great discussion and encouraged our Team to Talk to each other.
We thank Adrian for sharing his story and allowing us to provide our team with learning that will help us support our patients

His courage in recounting his journey was both inspiring and humbling. Through his words, he brought to light the immense challenges and emotional turmoil faced by those who have lost a loved one to suicide.
Adrian spoke with such authenticity and vulnerability, creating a space where my Family Hub team felt as if they were also being listened to and heard with their own emotions and thoughts. His story not only highlighted the importance of mental health awareness but also underscored the need for compassion and support for those grieving such a loss.
His ability to transform his pain into a powerful message of hope and resilience is truly remarkable. I left the session feeling deeply moved and more equipped to support others in similar situations. Adrians's testimony is a testament to the strength of the human spirit and the importance of community in healing, and in ensuring it is heard through and how we as professionals, members of the public can raise the awareness of supporting mental health by being available to talk and through signposting to support groups such as Adrian's
Thank you, Adrian, for sharing your story with us all in the Family Hub and for being a beacon of hope for many.

Adrian’s talk on suicide made a truly meaningful impact on our students at Park House. Although the subject is a very difficult one, he approached it with honesty, sensitivity, and compassion, creating a safe space for our students to really listen and reflect. The session was emotional, but also hugely important in giving our young people the opportunity to think deeply about mental health, the challenges many face, and the importance of reaching out for support. Students left not only with a greater understanding of the subject, but also with the reassurance that it’s ok to talk about their feelings and seek help when they need it. We are incredibly grateful to Adrian for the care, thought, and courage he brought to this talk, and for the positive and lasting conversations it has sparked within our school community.
